Flavors

Flavors represent a collection of sensory characteristics of certain substances, which induce the senses of smell and taste. Flavoring substances and flavors are additives of highly concentrated aroma which are added to the products in very low quantities in order to achieve the desired aroma and flavor, or to enhance the already existing aromas found in our product. This group of additives has an exquisite physiological effect on the human body since it gives the product an extremely attractive taste and aroma which increases the desire to consume the product.

We import flavors from the most renowned European producers. Our line of several dozen flavors, permanently in stock, is predominantly made from aromatic substances with fruit-aromas as well as several different types of vanilla aroma which are used the most. In addition to this, we are willing and able to expand our product range within a short space of time so that it gains greater variety.

How are flavors made?

  • Our natural flavors are made from fruit or aromatic plants through distillation, extraction or other processes and afterwards are added to suitable carriers. By choosing certain types of fruit from our region, we obtain flavors of top quality continental fruit. We wish to give special mention to our apple and sour cherry flavors.
  • We create naturally identical flavors by synthesis or extraction from natural substances which, by their structure, match those of natural ones. Suppliers provide us with individual flavoring substances or with ready-made flavoring compositions with a high concentration. Depending on our customer’s needs, at Desing we finalize flavors for specific usage which require a focus on particular characteristics: solubility in water, thermal stability and application to powder carriers.

Flavors have a wide application in the food, chemical and other branches of industry and they are also used to improve products’ sensory characteristics, their final definition and character.
